After moving to the UK from Argentina when I was 6, with my Scottish Father and Argentinean Mother; we settled in Crawley, where I would grew up, attending the local schools. Starting at Gatwick Airport, I enjoyed a career as a Civil Servant, where I met my wife and travelled to Africa and where we spent a number of years living.
With a desire to run my own business; I joined Cloudy2Clear Windows in the summer of 2014. With their excellent support and training, we quickly established our business as a popular choice in double glazing repairs for our local community. We are a husband and wife team and our customers love the personal touch that offers. We pride ourselves on our customer service; and our testimonials demonstrate how our customers feel about us.
Outside of work; we have a young family to care for and enjoy all sorts of interests. I play 5 aside football and tennis and my wife is a keen baker and loves to go dancing.
If you have double-glazed windows and can hear or feel a draught, it means there is a problem with your window seals. Draughts are not only an inconvenience; they also increase the level of heat loss in your home, which could seriously affect your utility bills. If you have draughty double glazing, get in touch with your local Cloudy2Clear branch for a free quote.
Double glazing becomes cloudy when the seals become faulty. This can be caused over time if windows were installed poorly or by physical damage. Gaps in seals allow moisture in the air to become trapped between the panes, leaving your windows misty or cloudy. If you have cloudy double glazing, get in touch with your local Cloudy2Clear branch for a free quote.
Yes. The vacuum created between the panes acts as a natural noise diffuser to help reduce the number of exterior sounds making their way inside your home. This is particularly useful if you live in loud areas like a busy city centre or near train tracks.
Yes. Our engineers can replace your faulty double glazing from inside, meaning that you can enjoy the benefits even if you live in an apartment building or areas that can’t be accessed from outside.
Absolutely! Despite some initial costs, double-glazing is an investment that allows you to reap multiple benefits. Not only will it keep your home quiet, free from damp and without draughts, but, it will also add value to your home and help you save money on your energy bills — so you’ll soon see a return on your investment.
